I’m Jason Paul Hendricks. In late 2023 I joined an AI site building competition launched by Spencer Haws. This 6 month challenge began just days before the now infamous Google “Helpful Content Update”.
It’s hard to build site authority and a strong backlink profile organically (even without a deadline and core updates). So, I decided to launch a PR campaign. But a press release needs something to announce.
First I considered building a “GPT” on OpenAI (popular at the time). But why should I build and promote something on their site?
And this was the idea: an AI app for my prospects should be on my site.
Then I realized there was no easy way without developers to code it from scratch. So I built it. And now you can put an AI app on your site too…
I didn’t win that site building challenge but I got something much more valuable: I realized how this simple and powerful tool can massively boost conversions and attract links.
